July is here and what a month it is! Not only is it mark the start of Q3 2026, but also the start of three new Godzilla series and the finale to the first year and second story arc of the Kai-sei era Godzilla series.

Sonic the Hedgehog X Godzilla kicks this month off, and we were lucky enough to get a preview copy, and it hits the ground running, delivering front-to-back kaiju action within the first few pages as Godzilla's monsters crash into Sonic's world. This series is going to be a crossover of epic proportions you will not want to miss!

The next new Godzilla title is The Horror of Godzilla. While we have not got to read it yet, all the early reviews have been glowing, with many saying this may not only be one of the best IDW series of the year but one of the best comic series of the year. On top of these great IDW series Godzilla will be reaping havoc on the Marvel Universe once again with Godzilla Conquers the Multiverse.

Outside of the Godzilla releases, readers will have two releases from the creative team behind the ULTRAMAN manga series with Dragon Circus and Star Wars Visions: Tsukumo two manga that I am picking up myself. Additionally, the Ultraman Omnibus will be coming out as well while it includes the entire Marvel run, the inclusion of the 1993 and 1994 series makes it an especially exciting release as part of Ultraman's 60th anniversary celebration.

Over at Dark Horse Comics, Giant Robot Hellboy Returns is a three-issue mini-series that as the title implies, sees the return of Giant Robot Hellboy. Also, from Dark Horse this month we get issue three of Hidden Spring it feels like this four-issue series just started and we are already almost done with it. Really curious to see how the Hidden Spring senior group comes out of their kaiju conundrum.

Finally, don't overlook this month's incredible indie projects, which can always use more readers and support. First up congratulations to the Kaijus & Cowboys crew for making into comic shops! That's right the series will be getting retail issues for your local shops to pick up! Issue 1 will be printed with 2 new variant covers! So, if you have not been a rider now is the time to stop by your local shop and ask them to get you Kaijus & Cowboys!

Also launching this month, Monster Matadors campaign for Blood of the Matador Issue three will be going live this month the war between Nacho Lobo and the Matador is in full swing for this insane issue three! Back it on Kickstarter!

And lastly though it is not a tokusatsu or kaiju release we consider this one somewhat connected to a kaiju project it it Gabage Lordz a new indie comic series that takes place in 2092 on the Great Pacific Garbage patch which has now turned in an an island! Garbage Lordz is a story from a longtime friend of the channel Blake McCarthy who man of you may know from his hit Kaiju series Territory. Blake delivered such an incredible human story in a Kaiju world with Territory, that I am so sure that Garbage Lordz will be an amazing story in a distopian future readers won't want to miss.
