Frankie is an incredible artist — truly the “sketch card king”! His work has been featured in several of our #SketchCardSaturdays, and his energy and positivity make him one of the most inspiring artists in the Kaiju/Tokusatsu community. Every conversation with him is a fun experience.
Comic Creator Writer
Blake McCarthy
Blake McCarthy has been the guest to occur on our show more than any other creator. We've been talking with him since Territory Issue #2 and were lucky enough to be the show where he announced that Donny Hadiwidjaja taking over for Chris Sassman for issues #4 to #5. We had Blake on the show for every campaign afterward and even reviewed the final issue with him the week it was released! Blake is a great friend of the show, and he always comes to us first when he has announcements to share. Terrirtory has truly been a journey for Blake, and as backers and big supporters of the series, we feel honored that he brought us along with him for that Journey.

Comic Creator Writer/Artist
Ross Radke
Ross Radke is a seriously multi-talented comic creator. Not only does he write his comics, but he also delivers some absolutely incredible art to go along with them. We've been massive fans of his Stomped Anthology comic series ever since we read the first two issues, and we were instantly hooked. From there, we followed all of Ross's other projects from his webtoon superhero series SpandEx to Bill The Platypus, a wild comic about a platypus bounty hunter taking on the Chupacabra. We had the pleasure of sitting down with Ross to talk about the Stomped Volume 1 trade paperback. He's got some big plans for the Stomped universe, and if you're like us, you're going to want to be there for all the Kaiju chaos still to come!

Comic Creator Writer / Artist
Steven Prince

Steven Princeis the creator behind the award-winning indie comic series Monster Matador. Stevenoriginally developed Monster Matador entirely on his own, handling both writing and art. During those early stages, he completed 12 that were never physically release, serving instead as the foundation for the world and story he would later refine. In 2022, after his time perfecting his story telling through those 12 issues, Steven brought the series to life in print by teaming up with artist Fabio Alves and colorist Alex Zief. This collaboration resulted in Monster Matador: Tango of the Matadors, the first comic in the series that was physically available to fans and to many the true beginning of the Monster Matador Sage. Since then, Steven has run 11 successful crowdfunding campaigns, including Monstradores, a one-shot spin-off that expands the Monster Matador universe. We've been supporting Steven and the series for quite some time now and have been fortunate enough to have him on our show. Steven is one of the most talented creators in the indie comics scene and has truly mastered the art of fulfilling crowdfunded project for his backers. On top of that, he is an incredible supporter of the indie community, having backed over 450 campaigns, with that number quickly closing in on 500!
Comic Creator Artist / Writer
Matt Frank
We had the honor of interviewing Matt Frank, a fan-favorite artist within the Kaiju and Tokusatsu fandom. Matt has contributed to countless Godzilla covers for IDW Publishing over the years and provided interior art for the majority of the 25-issue run for Godzilla: Rulers of Earth. Matt also handled both writing and art duties for the entire run of Redman: The Kaiju Hunter series, as well as Godzilla Rivals: Vs. SpaceGodzilla. Beyond his comic work, Matt supplied artwork for the entire Arrow Video Gamera Blu-ray collection, creating covers and art for every Gamera film. Matt also worked on Arrow Video's Daimaijin, Tremors 1 & 2 and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Blu-ray sets. Additionally, Matt has provided Blu-ray cover art for companies such as SRS Cinema, and Vinegar Syndrome, and has created figure box art for Titanic Creations! Matt joined us on the show shortly after Mothra: Queen of the Monsters was announced at NYCC, giving us the opportunity to interview a member of the creative team before anyone else! Mothra: Queen of the Monsters went on to become one of our favorite Kaiju comics of 2025, and it was fantastic to see Matt return to a multi-issue comic series! On top of all that. Matt is currently working on his own original Kaiju comic series, State of the Monsters, and we are eagerly awaiting its release!

Artist & Kaiju Brooklyn Founder
John Bellotti Jr. (Robo7)

We've had the pleasure of talking with John Bellotti Jr. (Robo7) the founder of Kaiju Brooklyn, artist and fellow New Yorker. We first met John years ago at a small local sci-fi convention, and since then we've been following his work closely, from his incredible Kaiju and Tokusatsu themed posters to his officially licensed Ultraman T-shirts. When John brought Kaiju Brooklyn to New York, we were beyond excited. As longtime fans, we've wanted a New York based Kaiju convention for years, and watching it become a reality has been amazing, thanks to John. With each event, Kaiju Brooklyn continues to grow bigger and better, and we truly believe it will become the largest Kaiju convention in the country someday! Beyond the convention itself, John has contributed artwork for the several cards in the Ultraman Trading Card Game and created a cover for the Official Ultraman Episode Guidebook, which was successfully crowdfunded on Kickstarter. When we think John Bellotti Jr., we think incredible Ultraman art and the mastermind behind Kaiju Brooklyn!
Comic Creator Artist
Patrick McEvoy
We spoke with Patrick about the Gorgo Legacy graphic novel prior to the campaign's launch. Patrick is an artist we first became familiar with back in 2015 during the Kickstarter campaign for the World War Kaiju graphic novel. Years later we got to enjoy more of his work in Titanic Creations' Soul War Graphic novel. Before diving into kaiju projects, Patrick created cover art for the BOOM! Studios' Fall of Cthulhu and Call of Cthulhu comic series. His artwork has since appeared across a wide range of projects, including Arkham Horror (the tabletop game), the Marvel Champions card game, the Lost in Space comic series, mobile and even major mobile and computer games like SimCity and The Sims, among many others! It was an absolute blast talking with Patrick, and we hope to see him continue helping the Soul War Universe grow with even more Kaiju stories!

Titanic Creations Founder & Graphic Novel Writer
Mac McClintook II

Mac McClintock founded Titanic Creations in 2018, an American based kaiju toy company that began with Titanicus the mmonster resonsible for sinking the Titanic in the alternate history universe now known as the Soul War Universe. Following the release of Titanicus, Mac introduced additional original Kaiju such as Noseferadon, Griffix, and Skureaus, all of whichh appear in the Soul War graphic novel. When the Titanicus & Noseferadon figures were first released, Mac also produced accompanying comics packaged with the figures. This eventually led to the creation of the full Soul War Graphic novel in collaboration with artist Patrick McEvoy. Building on his success, Mac went on to acquire licenses to produce figures for classic kaiju including Gorgo (one of our all-time favorites), Pulgasari and Yongary. Following Soul War, Mac wrote Gorgo Legacy which was released in 2025. Titanic Creations has continued to expand its product line with plushes, chibi figures, and the Kaijuscapes set allowing fans to create their own destructive monster dioramas for display and figure photography. Mac McClintock is a busy man running this company, and we're incredibly impressed by how much he's grown and evolved Titanic Creations. We truly appreciated him taking the time to talk with us about Gorgo Legacy and his future plans for the Soul War Universe and Titanic Creations as whole. We hope to see more incredible stories and figures from Titanic Creations very soon!
Dueling Dragons Adventures Co-Founder RPG Creator

We spoke with Greg about Titans of Fallen Earth his new RPG that takes place in a post-apocalyptic Kaiju world with Mechas, Kaiju, Kaijin and aliens!
Greg was nice enough to send us an early preview version of the book and we have to say it is a gorgeous book. He enlisted various artist and he taught us how easy and fun the game is to play. It was a great talk and always cool learning about all the different things kaiju can get involved in such as RPGs.

Sakura Central Founder
Nicholas Huber
Nicholas Huber joined us as a co-interviewer for one of our episodes featuring Territory creator Blake McCarthy. Nick is one of the co-founders of Sakura Central, s website dedicated to building connections between American and Japanese communities around .Japanese media in the West-including kaiju, anime manga, tokusatsu, cosplay, videogames and more. We had a great time collaborating with Nick on this interview and look forward to teaming up with him again in the future.
Birds Eye Comics
Birds Eye Comics is an indie comic book company that was kind enough to provide us an early preview issue of Godliath, their anti-hero demon kaiju series. We had the opportunity to review Issue #2 ahead of the campaign launch to help promote the book and drive potential backers its way. Godliath is an absolutely wild series, blending horror, comedy and of course kaiju into something completely unhinged and fun. The campaign went on to be a success, and it looks like the next issue is already gearing up and nearly ready for its upcoming campaign!

TokUSA Studios

TokUSA Studios is an indie comic company founded by James Aloysius Santana and Hunter van Lierop. Together, they've created the Nebuverse a tokusatsu inspired comic universe filled with henshin heroes, kaijin (heroes who transform into kaiju), aliens and more. The Nebuverse includes titles such as Project-K, Masura, and Nebulon: Knight of Justice. The creative team draws heavy inspiration from Power Rangers, Super Sentai and other classic tokusatsu media. One of their biggest early successes was The World of Nebulon, a preview comic that served as a sampling of the many stories within the Nebuverse. The book showcased a wide range of tones and concepts and really highlighted the universe's depth and potential. Following the success of The World of Nebulon, TokUSA Studios launched Nebulon: Knight of Justice Issue #1 on Kickstarter. TokUSA Studios wkind enough to provide us with an early preview copy, allowing us to review the book and help draw backers to the campaign. While the Kickstarter ultimately didn't reach its funding goal, TokUSA Studios remained resilient and has since shared the comic on Globalcomix for fans to read. They've also made it clear they fully intend to continue devekoping and expanding their original tokusatsu inspired stories in the Nebuverse. What really draws us to TokUSA Studios is just how much potential the Nebuverse holds and on a personal note, James is a fellow Long Islander, like our hosts Dan & Frank, giving us that extra bit of hometown pride in supporting their work.
