Welcome to Q2 of 2026! Pretty crazy to be here already, but here we are! Last month we saw the finale of Starship Godzilla, while this month starts off with the finale to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles X Godzilla! This series has been a treat especially as someone who is both a fan of TMNT comics and Godzilla.
On the indie front, one of our favorites is back on Kickstarter Kaijus & Cowboys back with Issue 8 and a now colorized version of Team KS-1 too! If you haven't checked out Kaijus & Cowboys, you are missing out and the prequel Team KS-1 comic is one of my personal favorites from the series. So, make sure to support that campaign!
Another cool release this month is the G-Cinema: An Exploration and Celebration of Japan's King from Daniel DiManna, more commonly known for the Godzilla Novelization Project. If you are active within the Kaiju social media communities, you have definitely come across the Godzilla Novelization project. This book explores the history and behind the scenes of Godzilla and his movies. With a wealth of knowledge on Godzilla, I am sure Daniel DiManna's book will deliver so make sure to pick up a copy to support one of the Godzilla fandom communities' biggest creators and contributors!
Another one I am excited for this month is Toxic Super Beast Volume 3, now this is a manga I have not had the chance to review yet on the channel, but I am up to date with its English physical releases, and I have to say it is a fantastic series so far. The story follows Kazuki Kisaragi, a psychiatrist/psychologist child prodigy, he gets put in charge of a platoon that specializes in taking down the giant super beasts that emerge from the fog. This special platoon is made up of young girls they call "witches" that posses powers of super beast, the problem is if these girls lose control of their emotions, they can cause even more damage than the beasts, hence why they have bombs placed in their bodies. As their leader and therapist Kazuki Kisaragi must keep their emotions under control to prevent the loss of any team members. Pretty heavy stuff for such a young kid to be in charge of, right?
There are so many other cool releases this month and pre-orders and launches listed as well so make sure to check those out and support them!
