Here we are already in March and closing out Q1! It’s been a strong start to the year for Kaiju & Tokusatsu comics, manga, and books, and this month is just as stacked!

March brings the finale of Starship Godzilla, a wildly fun series that’s really showcased just how vast the Godzilla Kai-sei Universe is. Starship Godzilla has been a fun one it feels likea mashup of Star Wars, Guardians of the Galaxy, rolled into a Godzilla comic universe.

Following the finale of Godzilla: Escape the Deadzone, we learned that the next Kai-sei entry will be Revenge of the Deadzone. On top of that, The Horror of Godzilla was recently announced, a new entry that will revisit the very first 1954 attack within the Kai-sei continuity. So we wonder if Starship Godzilla will end with a teaser for a new continuation series as well!

Outside the Kai-sei titles, all of the previous Godzilla VS. America one-shots are receiving hardcover editions, along with a brand-new VS. Portland issue (no hardcover announced yet). We’re also getting Kaiju No. 8 Volume 15, the final volume before the big finale in Volume 16.

On the indie front, Marcus Walker: Kingslayer Protocol launches March 3rd on Kickstarter this is a new Indie series we are highly anticipating which you can read up more on (here). Isle of Monsters wraps up its Kickstarter campaign on March 5th, so be sure to secure your copy before it ends. Additionally, if you missed it during crowdfunding, Shin Zero Issue 1 will be available on Amazon.
