October 2026 Kaiju & Tokusatsu Themed Books, Comics And Manga

October Releases

Here we are in the final quarter of 2026, and it is starting off with a bang! Godzilla is back with Issue 13 this month, along with The Horror of Godzilla Issue 2, Godzilla: Revenged of the Deadzone Issue 1 and Starship Godzilla: Invasion X Issue 1! A massive month for the Godzilla Kai-sei Universe! On top of that there is another Godzilla's Monsterpiece Theater One-shot with The Kaiju of Oz, and Sonic the Hedgehog X Godzilla Issue 3. On top of all those IDW Publishing Godzilla titles, there is also Marvel's Godzilla Conquers the Multiverse, as well as a new children's book called Godzilla Stomp!


Also on the comic book front is No Gods, No Masters Issue 2. If you have not yet read Issue 1, you are missing out on a fantastic new Kaiju series from Boom! Studios. While the first issue mostly focuses on the human cast, the story that was set has a very Cloverfield like tone too it, especially since this story is also set in a New York City that becomes ravaged by monsters.


On the manga side of things, Tojima Wants to Be a Kamen Rider gets its English translated North American debut. After getting hooked on the anime earlier this year this Manga has been on my list of things to read for a while I cannot wait to jump back into this story, and I really hope that we get a season 2 of the anime.
