Detton is a reptilian kaiju that stands on two legs and features a prominent spike running down its back. It lacks a wide range of special abilities, relying primarily on its tough skin and burrowing ability to survive. Detton belongs to the same species category as Telesdon, and while the two look very similar, they have slightly different traits.

Detton is known for being far more careless and reckless than Telesdon, often placing itself in dangerous situations. This lack of survival instincts may explain why Detton has appeared far less frequently than its counterpart, as it lacks strong defensive mechanisms to protect itself in prolonged encounters.

Detton appeared in the same mountain range as Sadola. When it heard Sadola chasing down a MAT captain, Detton attempted to take advantage of what it perceived as an easy meal and joined the pursuit. This immediately led to conflict, as Sadola was unwilling to share its prey, resulting in the two monsters turning on each other.

Ultraman Jack soon arrived and engaged both kaiju in battle. Detton was killed during the fight when Ultraman Jack struck it with his Specium Ray, marking both the first and last recorded sighting of the species.

Detton was not an intelligent creature, and its species was largely wiped out due to its own recklessness. Had Detton possessed greater intelligence, it may have survived longer by acting as a scavenger rather than attempting to behave as an apex predator.
