Monster Name: Magular

Ultraman TV Appearance: Episode 8 — “Monster Lawless Zone”

Magular resembles a giant, dark, thorn-covered lizard. Its entire body is coated in sharp spikes, much like Bemular’s. Magular crawls on all fours and often burrows underground to hide from danger.

Magular once attacked Hyata and the Science Patrol but was quickly defeated by Hyata and the Captain using two grenades. Despite its fierce appearance, Magular turned out to be a surprisingly weak kaiju that preferred to hide underground from more powerful monsters.

Interestingly, Magular is one of several kaiju created from a repurposed Baragon suit. Being

part of the Baragon “family” of suits makes Magular a pretty cool kaiju in my book even if it wasn’t much of a fighter.
