Zilla vs Titanosaurus

Alright, today's Kaiju War Chronicles Review covers the battle between the infamous Zilla and Titanosaurus! This Kaiju War Chronicle was written by Forrest Freund, so props to Forrest for this awesome story I’m about to dive into.

Plot

The story kicks off in New York City on a bright, sunny morning when a tremor suddenly shakes Central Park. Panic spreads as Zilla bursts out of the ground, wreaking havoc across the city. Meanwhile, the coast guard detects something massive on radar near New York Harbor it’s Titanosaurus!

Hearing Zilla’s roar echo through the city, Titanosaurus recalls his humiliating loss to Godzilla in a previous battle. Fueled by revenge and shame, Titanosaurus storms into the city, determined to find and defeat his old foe but instead of Godzilla, he finds Zilla, a creature resembling him but not quite the same. Enraged, Titanosaurus decides to take out his anger on Zilla anyway.

The battle begins with Titanosaurus dominating early on. Zilla looks outmatched but manages to rip a chunk from Titanosaurus’s thigh, showing some fight. The two monsters clash across the city at one point Titanosaurus even chokes Zilla nearly to death, but Zilla escapes underground. Titanosaurus pursues, only to be ambushed when Zilla erupts from below. The fight rages on, but in the end, Titanosaurus prevails, snapping Zilla’s neck before returning to the ocean to heal.

Final Thoughts

This was another fun and surprising Kaiju War Chronicles entry. I love when underappreciated monsters like Titanosaurus get a moment to shine. Big thanks to Forrest Freund for bringing these classic kaiju back into the spotlight. Who do you think should have won this fight?
