Gorgos is a monster made of rock, and when completely still, it can almost camouflage as part of a mountain. Due to its heavy weight, Gorgos usually stays on all fours, dragging itself with its front limbs while conserving as much energy as possible. Gorgos has the ability to rebuild itself if blown up, as long as its glowing core remains intact. It can also spray hot steam from its mouth.

Gorgos met its end at the hands of a wild mountain man, who climbed onto the monster’s back, removed its glowing core, and shot it with a police officer’s pistol. Its slow, energy-conserving movements made it easy for the man to climb and attack. Gorgos only displayed bursts of speed and energy when it realized it was about to be killed, standing on its hind legs and desperately trying to throw the man off. After this encounter, no other Gorgos appeared. Its body was ultimately buried in an avalanche.
