Huge Detective By Adam Rose Illustrated by Magenta King

This week’s comic review takes a look at Huge Detective, a unique series written by Adam Rose and illustrated by Magenta King. The comic introduces a fresh and imaginative concept: the first-ever human and giant detective duo, Detective Tamaki and Detective Gyant, working together in a world where humans and giants coexist… peacefully? Well, they’re getting there.

What really shines in Huge Detective is the potential of its world. There’s a strong sense that many more stories are waiting to be told, with mysteries still left to unravel. Whether the series continues or not, this universe feels rich, engaging, and worth exploring further. I would love to see more of Detective Tamaki and Detective Gyant, they’re both fantastic characters with all the quirks of a newly partnered detective duo, and it feels like we’ve only scratched the surface with them.

Check out our full video review for a closer look at Huge Detective and our thoughts on this noir-inspired giant mystery.
