Antlar is a beetle-like kaiju with a prominent horn and two massive pincers, which it uses expertly in combat. This monster can burrow underground and fires a powerful electromagnetic beam capable of disabling firearms and even bringing down airplanes.

Antlar’s thick exoskeleton provides near-impenetrable armor, making it invulnerable to man-made weapons and even to Ultraman’s Specium Ray. In fact, Antlar became the first monster to survive a Specium Ray attack.

During its battle with Ultraman, Antlar proved to be a formidable foe. Ultraman managed to rip off one of its pincers but nearly exhausted all his energy in the fight. In a last-ditch effort, the Science Patrol received the sacred Blue Stone from the Princess of Baraj and hurled it at Antlar. The stone exploded, ultimately killing the monster and ending the threat.

Overall, a cool looking Kaiju love the beetle kaiju like Megalon and Antlar has a cool origin story. Looking forward to seeing more of this Kaiju throughout the Ultra series as I watch.
