Monster Profile: Alien Pitt
Monster Appearances: Ultraseven, Ultraman Max, Ultra Galaxy Mega Monster Battle: Never Ending Odyssey, Ultraman Orb, Ultraman Geed, Ultraman Taiga
The Pitt are an all-female alien race with humanoid bodies and insect-like heads. Despite their unsettling true appearance, the Pitt possess the ability to disguise themselves as human women, which they frequently use to manipulate and deceive humans. They are aware of how easily people (especially men) can be influenced by attractive appearances and use this to their advantage to further their plans.
In addition to their disguises, the Pitt can emit small but effective electric shocks capable of stunning opponents. They are also able to create energy spheres for offense. While they may not appear physically intimidating, the Pitt are highly dangerous due to their intelligence, deception, and long-term planning.
The first recorded Pitt incident occurred when a Pitt spacecraft landed in Lake Azuma. The two Pitt involved in this encounter planned to invade Earth by unleashing Eleking, a powerful monster that grew from an alien tadpole they secretly released into the lake. To ensure their success, the Pitt managed to steal Dan Moroboshi’s Ultra Eye, preventing him from transforming into Ultraseven.
With Ultraseven seemingly removed from the equation, the Pitt appeared close to victory. However, Dan Moroboshi released one of his capsule monsters, Miclas, to battle Eleking while he infiltrated the Pitt’s ship to retrieve his Ultra Eye. Regaining his ability to transform, Ultraseven defeated Eleking and chased down the retreating Pitt. Their escape attempt was cut short when Ultraseven destroyed their ship with his Emerium Ray, killing the invading Pitt.
While the Pitt admired Earth’s beauty, they ultimately wanted the planet for themselves. Since their initial defeat, the Pitt have reappeared throughout various Ultraman series—sometimes attempting to live peacefully, but more often returning with renewed invasion plans, frequently involving Eleking once again. If not for the Pitt, one of the most iconic Ultra monsters may have never existed.
This entry will be updated as additional Pitt appearances are covered.
